Texas Social Event is a family-owned business that LOVES to travel and see the world...just like you! So, understanding time is of the essence and affordability was the foundation when forming our end-to-end shared shuttle services.


Texas Social Event has been one of the leading requested shared shuttle services in Galveston for several years now.


We offer safe and efficient point-to-point shared transportation services from Houston Airports to Galveston Cruise Terminals, Hotels, Conventions, and Private Services within the approved perimeter of the City of Galveston.


All our vehicles are less than five years old and exceed local, state, and federal requirements to operate.

Professional Chauffers

 Our chauffeurs are passionate local experts dedicated to help make your vacation transport a memorable experience.  


Our licensed chauffeurs underwent drug and alcohol screening and background-checked by the City of Houston and the City of Galveston, and all our vehicles are less than five years old and exceed local, state, and federal requirements to operate.


We greatly appreciate all gratuity given. 

FAQs

Cancellation/Reservation Policies


In the event you must cancel within the two weeks without travel insurance we will gladly give travel vouchers which are redeemable at any time when you travel with Texas Social Event.


Texas Social Event offers travel insurance at an addition to total cost of $ 15.00 to cover the cancellation within two weeks of scheduled reservation date.


With this insurance policy we will provide a no-questions-asked, money-back guarantee right up to the day of travel. 

We are a shared-ride transportation service.

You may wait for other passengers to get on or off the shuttle.

There may be traffic delays.

The shuttle drops passengers off at Hobby Airport on the way to IAH and picks up at Hobby on the way back to the Port of Galveston

Bags are not to exceed 30” in length, width, or height. If your bag is larger than these dimensions, it will not fit in the vehicle

We use a Ford Transit 14-passenger van that has Texas Social Event Logo. For private ride we have a black Chevrolet Suburban

Yes, the shuttle will leave you; the shuttle is designed to operate on a schedule, so no customer misses their flight or ship. Please call us immediately; if you’re having trouble finding the pick-up locations.

In the event you miss your shuttle, you will take the next available shuttle.

The next available shuttle time has the potential of being full or unavailable. We will make every reasonable effort possible to get you to your destination as quickly as we can.

If you change airports the price of the ticket will change.

We allow all service dogs and animals that will fit in a crate according to our baggage allowance.


Please note that you do have to purchase a seat for them.

We DO NOT provide car seats.

Our vehicles do not accommodate motorized scooters.

Respectfully, you will be asked and removed from the shuttle immediately; with no refund, at any location safe enough for the driver to pull over.


We implement reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please be aware that no data transmission over the internet or storage method is entirely secure.
